Frank Optic Products and Scansonic extend their cooperation in the automotive sector

The laser cable and optics specialists, Frank Optic Products, and Scansonic, the world’s leading provider of laser processing heads, have extended their existing cooperation in the field of high performance lasers.

Particularly in the automotive business segment the two companies will cooperate with one another more closely on R&D projects and the marketing of fibre-optic beam guidance systems, laser heads and laser optics on the international market.

Modular systems and system components are also offered in the after-sales segment in all fields of material processing with solid state lasers, diode lasers and fibre lasers.

Scansonic will include the economical and efficient high power laser cables for all output classes by Frank Optic Products in its worldwide sales system.

Both companies will supply technical support together and adapt their systems individually to meet customer-specific requirements.

Frank Optic Products is considered to be the world market leader, also in terms of know-how, for autoclave-capable medical optical fibre beam guidance systems and, as a specialist, it manufactures optical-fibre medical probes for photodynamic therapy (PDT), as well as dental laser cables, which are applied in surgery, periodontology and endodontics, in compliance with EEC93/42 and DIN ISO 9001, CE conformity.

Primarily laser cables, optical fibre medical probes, fibre and laser plugs, laser and fibre holders as well as fibre tips made of sapphire will be on show.

SideFire laser cable
for laser-induced therapy
